The one thing that concerns me with RR is that he does not seem to be able to instruct the players.

Rob Ryan has never been a good teacher and always relies on his position coaches to do that part. His teams in Dallas were bad tacklers as well.

We should have hired Romeo. If Wade remains unemployed I hope we hire him.

I would blame that more on the awful position coaches we have. In Payton's tenure we have never developed any defensive talent because our position coaches are among the worst in the NFL. It amazes me they have jobs.

i have reached a conclusion.

his defense will never win us a division title. he will never field a defense that is to be feared just respected at best. if that

all he needs to do is field a top 25 defense. which is what his track record is anyways.

Leave the rest to the offense. this off season is all about fixing the OL and whatever he can field is what he can field.

it all goes through drew

Yes, and somehow we need to find a LB or two that can frigan run and tackle. Jesus Christmas how can we not find anybody that can play the frigan spot well enough. Who is the LB coach?

Tackling has been a problem not only with Ryan being here that problem goes way back. I blame that simple problem on all them not teaching fundamental football.

I feel like it is an attitude, what do you think? Like you're either nasty or you're not??

Our best year tackling in recent memory was 2013, which coincidentally was the year our defense finished 4th.

I'm thinking there may be a connection there.

Know what I noticed one game watching Seattle? They almost always make a tackle immediately after the guy catches the ball. No free yards. You earn everything against them.
