IIRC CB is one of the hardest positions to master technique wise in the NFL along with QB and WR.

I'm just hoping that the talent is there, he just happened to be much more raw than the coaches originally thought.

None of our cb's have mastered technique I see breakdowns in everybody's technique week out consistently especially when it comes to tracking the ball and getting their head around, it wouldn't hurt to see where he's stands in comparison this Sunday to those two neither Frederick or Dixon are ready for the #2 spot if you ask me (nobody asked me)

Our DB's don't need to turn to locate the ball, they are already 5 steps behind the receiver when it arrives lol.

That just shows some of the complacency and cockiness that has developed in the organization that they thought the team was in such great shape that they could essentially waste a second round pick on a guy they had no intention of even putting on the field this year. It's even more egregious considering they knew that they didn't have a third round pick due to trading up for Cooks.

It is Rob job not only to teach players but it is also his job to teach his coaches plus make sure every one is on the same page.

it is obvious he does not have every one on the same page and i wonder if the book itself is even bond up yet.

No offense but this is not how football teams operate on any level. They don't baby players. If you're in, you're in - if not, you sit and wait for your turn. You don't go in the coaches office and sit on the couch like he's your psychologist, tell him all your problems and talk about your future. That's what offseasons are for.

Looking at those highlights it seems he is an all-or-nothing player. But we haven't seen aggressive corner play like that all season. I am looking forward to seeing this guy get on the field at some point.

is a totally different thing. if after 17 games you do not have a clue why your not playing, it is 1 of 2 things

1 your dumber than a door nail
2 someone is not doing their job

after the way this defense has played all year i lean to #2
