Wow...

Just shows that Payton/Loomis won't be replacing any of the dead weight on the staff... shame.

We have 5 different DCs in the last 10 years but the position coaches don't change, so our defense will continue to be a bottom feeder.

Why do you assume that?

Didn't you also assume nothing would be done on defense before we hired Dennis Allen?

Just stating observations Danno.

Allen was hired to put pressure on Rob Ryan, not to replace any position coaches (Not my words, just restating what the NOLA article says).

To me that means we will have yet another DC with the same staff under him and expect different results...

There is no way you can justify having the same positional coaching staff for 10 years but going through 6 DC in that time due to poor performance.

Allen's hire to this position tells me (my opinion) that they are putting more pressure on Rob and refuse to give him the help he really needs-- new position coaches. Our defense will continue to be inconsistent as long as Vitt and Johnson are around.
