Then why didn't you ask me instead of being a douche? My point is not that complicated...we won a Super Bowl without him and now all of a sudden our offense can't function because he left? We all know what contributed to our problems, and losing Sproles isn't one of them.

If we didn't need those 50, why did we need 1 not named Brees?

Shockey was also limping. As Brees said recently, it's all about attitude and leadership. We had none of it this past season.

How did Sproles provide leadership that the other veterans on this team couldn't provide? I think this "leadership" thing can be blown out of proportion. Seattle is the youngest team in the NFL,and they seem to be doing just fine.

Valid point, all I can say is they have young players that are of uncommon quality in terms of attitude. Look, when we have players missing flights, late for meetings etc...no way that was going on in Seattle.

I don't think Sproles was a leader. I thought Henderson was a leader more so than Colston. Payton also is our offensive leader as well and Brees is the guy that makes calls in the huddle. I think the leaderhip should be reserved for defense because young defensive players are not gonna resonate with Brees. Its because of backgrounds too. This plays a big role.
