The Saints got him a center finally, he will will the ability to climb the pocket like in years last again when the pocket collapses so he will be able to find this 3rd or 4th option like in years past. Brees has earned enough respect in this league that's he's the last player Payton should be trying to play mind games with, Bress is a self motivator.

I think the guy has played some very good football with the Saints. Whoever was backup QB.

What we have to do is make the sure guy trusts his team; decent protection, guys who will catch the ball coming their way.

Take Colston and Ben Watson away from our TE/WR group and including Cooks everyone off them combined has Receptions 103,Yards 1162,TD 10.
And you might be right.
You are the records and research man. What were the performances of our TE/group in terms of the ball thrown their way? How do they ompare with the figures for other teams?

I wouldn't mind it if Drew was a little more focused on football. I know that his wife is fertile and he has children that need his time. He has a ton of charities where he invests his money and time for a good cause. And then there is all the time spent with the NFLPA. Also, Drew is quite busy with his endorsement deals as well.

I just wonder if he's not stretching himself too thin?

But can you blame him... Is there anything to play for. You have a trophy, the HOF is lock, and who is really putting pressure on him on our roster...... If you want the cerebral Brees back you are gonna have to ramp up the pressure on him too. Im thinking Brett Hundley would do that.... If you think back, when he was in ruts in San Diego... the Chargers brass selected Rivers... and Brees played some of his best San Diego ball... I think if we want the true Brees... we have to ramp that pressure up!!!!
No offense dude, but Drew is the least of our issues. Our oline has not been really good since 2011. It has declined each year since and last year was by the far its worse since Drew joined us.

The defense looking like the 2012 bunch didn't help drew or the offense either.

Fix the oline and I can assure you he plays better than ever.

If you put the fear in him about anything it's to stop forcing balls when his pocket collapses in 2 or 3 seconds. Then again if he does that he takes the sack, then all fans will scream because he takes the sack too quickly or easily. It's a lose/lose with Drew or any other QB until the Saints offensive line is completely reinforced.

I have zero, and I mean zero concerns about Drew Brees' work ethic. He needs a supporting cast around him to be successful. On O and D. Trust me, he is his own worst critic.

I think Jennings would be a fine addition at the right price, but he's no version of Colston. Colston is much bigger, and btw, I think he dropped just 8 passes.

Have you read his book?

I have. He is a classic type "A" personality. He thrives working, wherever that may be. He cannot be stretched too thin.

Agree. If anything he is wound too tight at times.
