My dear friend, Oh ye of little faith...

Do you not trust Payton and this offense?

Do you not see that the war is won on the offensive line?

Why with only one football used per play would we want to leave offensive weapons on the bench because we're maxed on the field?

Just six months ago we clamored how we HAD to spread the talent around...

Come, see now we have younger, faster, better offensive linemen, cornerbacks, linebackers, Sweet Lord - We Have Linebackers Now!!!

No Andrus Peat wasn't a sexy pick, but that big mofo is gonna maul the opposition...

And we're gonna be gashing teams with Ingram and Spiller - yes that other weapon everyone is forgetting we added...

Calm, calm yourselves and wait for Payton is about to deliver...

For It's clobering time...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Then we have unproven talent in Coleman, Jones and Saunders. I have high hopes for all of them. But the UDFA RJ Harris, I'm excited for him. Reminds me of a Lance Moore type

But, overall, a little concern for our WR corps. Thoughts?
I am. I am not sold on Cooks. I do wish we could have found a receiver in the draft but I have a feeling we will sign one or two in FA. Who knows what kind of UDFA could be out there either. I am done with Toon. Hopefully Morgan had his wake up call. There is a ton of upside there but its time for him to put out or get out.
Im not worried yet. If we go into camp without having brought someone legit in then I may get a little concerned. Then again if we commit more to the running game we may be ok. At least I think its obvious that they seem to be planning to lean more heavy on the running game this year than in the past.

Jjasso,
+1... Spot on. Just a week ago in his presser, Sean P did mention there were a guy or two that they targeted in the draft (however it didn't pan out), however he is quite confident that Jones and Coleman are progressing very nicely and are ready.

I sure as hell won't second guess Sean P & I think he does see a lot of potential from those two young guys. Gotta develop and coach em up.

I haven't been high on Toon mostly because of his injuries but if this guy can stay healthy he will be a stud. I instantly looked at him in a good way late last season.

You're not sold on Cooks?!?!? Before his injury, he was outstanding! Jesus, what the hell are you looking for?

Re: Our WR corps

Josh Hill, Spiller, and Ben Watson can catch the ball too. I think the fact that we didnt overly peruse WR's first in the draft or FA could mean Sean may be very serious about pounding the ball this season.

I can imagine the screams if any of the picks were WR.
