Haslett faces tough off-season
Again, I read what is there, and not read my own intepretation into anything. Since we are inferring, maybe he is saying the defensive personnel hampered McCarthy\'s offense by not being able to keep the score down while they blew first quarter after first quarter, who knows. But like I said, we can save a lot of time if you read WHAT IS THERE, and push off WHAT YOU INFER as fact.

Really? Since when? Was it when you said that Brooks said his team SUCKS? Or was that just you own interpetation? Must have been since Brooks NEVER said it. Or was it when you said Brooks was an ego-manic? Whose interpetation was that? Hmmmm.. Need I say more? |

Must be a hive mentality, since I am not the only one who has said THOSE EXACT SAME THINGS. Maybe you are the only one who inteprets things YOUR WAY. I a, sure you have read numerous others here call AB an ego maniac. Do they mis-interpret as well?
And I don\'t know about you, but placing myself above a team by saying I am great, and calling them inconsistent and struggling does not scream \"Hey I am behing you guys 100%.\" But of course, that\'s what you got out of it. |

I see players calling out their coaches all the time. I see players blaming the media all the time. I see coaches calling out their players all the time. And you do to. You just don\'t bring it up because its not Aaron Brooks. |

Show me. You mean TO? Backs it up on the field. Anyone else you care to show me? I wouldn\'t mind it if Brooks WAS great or if he had done ANYTHING in his career. He HAS NOT, in case you didn\'t know, so I have a problem with it. You skated on this before but man up now, show me another example of a player in the NFL calling himself great when he isn\'t and calling his team inconsistent and struggling. I will be quite interested to see it, since you knwo it happens so much. SHOW ME THE MONEY!!!

The Saints don\'t have top 5 talent across the board?
No, but it\'s a lot closer than this author, and not surprisingly, Billy, would like to think. Joe Horn has PRODUCED top 5 results at his position for 5 straight years. Go look it up. We have a first round draft pick playing across from him. Deuce and Karney are solid to say the least. Karney plays his role and Deuce, though he has been concerningly less productive of recent, is a top five, maybe ten, TALENT. Our TEs, as disappointing as they may be, are top 10 also. If you disagree, name 10 other teams with TWO TEs better than ours. LeCharles Bentley is a legitimate Pro Bowl talent, and the interior line is above average. There are, IMO, four major problems with the offense. Two are a direct result of the coach. 1) Poor game planning and play calling. 2) No dscipline. The other two are \"talent\" problems. 3) Our tackles are flat bad. 4) Our QB is maybe the most inconsistent in the NFL. Keep in mind that inconsistent does not mean bad - it means varying by a great degree. I\'m not saying AB is terrible, though he certainly isn\'t great either. The point is - if you look at the numbers week to week, you\'ll see his AVERAGE QB rating is around 80-85, but his weekly numbers are more like 100, 60, 95, 63, 89, 74.... Up, down, up, down. As we all know, if we watched the games, the same holds true quarter to quarter in-game. In any case, let\'s not start suggesting all of a sudden that this offense isn\'t really that good. It is, or at least it should be. The talent IS THERE. I think, with the exception of LB, the same holds true on D. Now we need COACHES who can turn TALENT into RESULTS. |

Come on Gumbo, put up or shetup time. Since I know you use NO facts when disagreeing, I am sure you will have a hard time finding anything. I can find Brooks\' comments readily, I just have to scroll back on this board. I am waiting.

Yeah, but I deleted it since some may not have caught on to this trick yet. I want them to get that for themselves.
