Haslett faces tough off-season
Thanks. Add to ego maniac a fragile psyche. So not only must he believe he is great, someone must constantly tell him so and McCarthy is gone. Don\'t they have pills for that?

saintwhodi -- You seem to be the only person in the world who thinks we have top 5 talent across the board on offense. At least that\'s what you indicate in just about every thread. Just plug in ANY other QB and we\'ll be on our way to the playoffs. That\'s what he says. Hmmmmmmmm........... [Edited on 31/1/2005 by GumboBC] |

gumbo--throw in most other QB\'s who are atleast consistent and we would have made the playoffs..esp. with the last four game streak.
look at pittsburgh-in no way is that line up much better on paper than the saints..and their QB aint\' montana... we should have been in and the rams should have been o ut. every year-the same story. it\'s time to change the one thing that hasn\'t been changed-the QB. I\'ll take herbert back over the way brooks has played the last couple of years. |

That says PERSONNEL, it does not say Saints don\'t have top shelf offensive talent. Way to over-react to a quote. Misinterpretation is your middle name though. Could personnel mean defense, coaches, front office what? PERSONNEL could mean anything. I never said we have top 5 talent int he current NFL, I said we have the BEST TALENT IN OUR TEAM\'S HISTORY. See the difference? No probably not.

which is true-on paper..but I\'ll take swilling., mills and herbert back over this defense and brooks...based solely on play.

Offensive talent in team history is the key baron. There is no question Mora\'s teams had the best defenses.

If ya did, then surly you can see the writer is talking about \"offensive\" talent. Take a look at it again...
