Maybe the sky is falling news on Drew Brees has been a little pre-emptive...
"In his first preseason action this year, Brees appeared in three drives, completing 8-of-10 passes for 159 yards, two touchdowns, and a perfect passer rating of 158.3 The capper was a perfectly placed deep ball to Brandin Cooks for a 45-yard touchdown" I think most people forgot about the oblique injury during training camp. I read an article in which Drew says it changed his mechanics, for the worse. That TD to Cooks was a thing of beauty. I look forward to seeing those types of plays on a regular basis. Go Drew Go!
