Re: Sean Payton needs to give up play calling duties
I understand all the stats and all that but and I say but, most of drews yards are thrash yards at the end of games that don't put winning games in the stat mode thrash yards. after game is over or been over, the comeback stats or getting old because its been awhile since he led a comeback.

Re: Sean Payton needs to give up play calling duties
Good points on both sides of this.
Giving up play calling helps him focus on HC of a real new team. On the other side, ineffective execution and inability of receivers to get separation means to me that it wouldn't matter who was calling the plays. |

Re: Sean Payton needs to give up play calling duties
Isn't the purpose of offense to score points? Fantasy Football owners know that QBs & WRs rack of monster yards when they are constantly trailing in the 2nd half.
This "#1 Offense" business is waaay misleading. Scoring Offense Numbers (NFL Ranks) NFL.com New Orleans Saints 2014: #9 2013: #10 2012: #3 Carmichael calling plays 2011: #2 Carmichael calling plays 2010: #11 2009: #1 (Super Bowl) The argument I make is in the numbers: I believe Carmichael can get this offense to put up more points than Payton can with play-calling. The NFL has Payton figured out & I'm thinking "something is rotten in the state of Denmark" between QB & HC. Just my opinion, though. |

Payton calls plays out of ego, not out of necessity. He should have given up that job when he came back in 2013 after seeing the outstanding job Carmichael did in 2012 while Payton was on suspension. SFIAH |

No one is #1 in every catagory, but we have hardly gone below 5th in any catagory for 9 seasons. So whats your point ? You know its an accurate stat. Just saying diz, you know Im not trying to make the O look better than they are. I was totally pissed at SP's calls this and last season. Pissed at Brees for losing 3 games last year. But you know as well as I do we might have had 2-3 rings by now if we didnt have a sucky D. Better yet look at the D stats lol . You lauph your ass off. If I was OC for saints for sense SP I would have ended up in jail, because I know I would have shot a few of the DC's. |

In 2013 we were 12th in the redzone. We are currently 17th.
New Orleans Saints red zone 2015: #17 2014: #7 2013: #12 2012: #2 Carmichael calling plays 2011: #6 Carmichael calling plays 2010: #19 2009: #5 (Super Bowl) I dont even want to look up D its all 25-32. And allot of these stats get messed up because your D is always failing so your fighting desperate all the time. With a 15-10th ranked D those stats would be higher. |
