this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Overall i do not think it is a true indicator of success, it is a tool to measure players...much like the 40 etc. Anyway while bored i found the pasts test of some QB's. I think you will be shocked ...

O\'Sullivan......35 Michael Vick.........20 Billy Joe Tolliver...24 and last, but certainly not least....well, maybe least, Jeff George..........10 xrotflmao:   :rollinglaugh: :smile_bounce: [Edited on 12/2/2005 by Saint_LB] |

So Marino a 14 and Young a 33. Yea, sounds accurate to me. I think this test is garbage. Mcnabb a 15 and Tolliver a 24. xrotflmao: Mcnair a 15.

It\'s not garbage - it doesn\'t test football accumen or talent, it tests essentially Intelligence Quotient. You don\'t think Steve Young is twice as smart as Marino??? You ever see the two guys talk?

Remember? I posted an article written by Charlie Wonderlic himself. Charlie said that the wonderlic DOES NOT measure intelligence. It measures how well a person can accomplish a certain task in a set amount of time. And these wonderlic tests are adjusted to measure different things acording to what they need to test for. The bottomline of this test, for me, is that it doesn\'t seem to measure anything useful for our discussion because of the disparity of the scores. You\'ve got great QBs with high and low scores and mediocre QBs with high and low scores.
What does this tell us? Nothing. :casstet: |
