Saints bring Austin Johnson back to practice squad
Austin Johnson’s exile did not last long.
The Saints brought the fullback back to the practice squad on Thursday after releasing him earlier this week. New Orleans has long liked to use a fullback as part of its offense, but Johnson lost snaps to tight end Michael Hoomanwanui, who has been filling some of the fullback duties.
