I think they are both to blame.

However SP is on his 3rd DC in 4 years and his 4th during his tenure. Every year is becoming the same, we fall behind, we even it out and then for the rest of the season we'll succumb to mediocrity.

well I am not sure you can really count spags since sp wasnt here, and gw chose to leave.

I blame sp for hiring this turd, we should have hired romeo or wade. That i do blame sp for, but other than that this defense is hott garabge and there is no defense for rr

Let's face it, even if we fire Rob Ryan we're not stumbling on some magical formula for our defense as long as Payton is coach and he forces his assistant coaches on our DC.

This game should not have been close, even with these two guys out.
No excuse for this pitiful performance against a rookie QB, at home, three game win streak, 1st week head coach, against team on the road with a six game losing streak.

10 touchdown passes allowed in 2 weeks against 2 teams with losing records???????????????
