Re: The blame SP not RR thread
Well either way I don't expect anything different until a complete turnover occurs. I will say this though...the scheme is only as good as the players that are in it and at the end of the day they have to make plays when the opportunity presents itself...the coach can't do it for you. Right now I don't believe we have the talent period. I think they are just trying to field the best 11 healthy players.

Re: The blame SP not RR thread
We score TDs on our 1st 3 possessions. The next time we scored was a TD with 5:57 left in the 4th Qtr.
Dick Lebeau is a Man as a DC. He adjusted & shut our offense down in our house as that awful Tennessee offense caught up against our awful defense. Payton didn't make the adjustments necessary and/or keep the foot on the gas to put that Tennesse team away today. You could also blame Payton for not having his team ready to play today. Yep, we were up 14-3 at one point, but with this defense? This team was not ready to play 60 minutes, much less 60 plus. They thought once we got up 14-3 that is was over, including the coaches. |

Re: The blame SP not RR thread
Vikings coach, Mike Zimmer, blamed Greg Williams today for Bridgewater's concussion. He said there is history there with GW (referring to bounty gate). So I blame everything on Greg Williams.

Re: The blame SP not RR thread
Sorry but you cant blame Payton for having to play a crappy hand w the crappy cards he's been dealt. Loomis is the one that has to go. He has failed in the drafts, and he's tried to build a team w free agents. On top of that, look at all the pathetic financial decisions he has made. In Loomis we no longer trust.

So do you think he should fire the scouting department head who was responsible for all of those failed drafts? If he fired the head of pro-personnel decisions and a bunch of scouts responsible, would you feel differently? |
