They gave up a good bit of yards but the were good at rushing the passer and creating turnovers and scoring themselves on some those turnovers. This team we dont have no where near that kind of players to pull that out.
They forced turnovers the first year, but never again after that. I'm not about to defend ol' Gregg.

Re: The blame SP not RR thread

It's scheme. I blame RR but Payton is partially to blame because he is the head coach and should override RR when **** hits the fan. I used to think it was personnel especially in the backfield. Now Jenkins is doing just fine with the Eagles and while nobody was paying attention PRob graded out as the number 3 DB behind Patrick Peterson and Revis.

Re: The blame SP not RR thread

While that is true....we didn't have a bunch of low draft picks and UDFAs playing and now GW has a bunch of 1st Rd picks to play with on defense

The Saints can't create pressure. They can't cover a TE. One starting CB leads the league in penalties. Someone has to answer for it. Fire Ryan and cut Browner. The season will not go any worse.

This game should not have been close, even with these two guys out.
No excuse for this pitiful performance against a rookie QB, at home, three game win streak, 1st week head coach, against team on the road with a six game losing streak.

10 touchdown passes allowed in 2 weeks against 2 teams with losing records???????????????
