yeah but I am of the school BPA over needs,
lets say "if" Tyler Boyd drops into your lap in the second you have to think long and hard at passing on the pick. I never liked the mid first round grade he had but in the second hmmmm
Look at Keenan Allen to San Diego right after us in the 2013 draft in the third round blew me away. I thought the saints might just pull the trigger. Rated a first rounder till the end of the years then scouts just picked the kid apart. Now Armstead instead Allen appears to be solid pick In hind sight you could not mess that up if those were the two players you were picking from
Just gotta be willing to go for a player at times no matter the team needs
BPA is fine for me in later rounds but if there is a glaring need and a guy who can fill it nicely is sitting there then pull the trigger. Dont try and make something out of nothing. In other words if you are picking 12th and you need a receiver but the next highly rated receiver is projected to go at number 30 then definitely BPA.
