Report: Drew Brees has torn plantar fascia in right foot
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; You don't want to destroy Grayson's future is he isn't ready. I still think David Carr would have been a good QB if he wasn't thrown into the lions den right away....

I don't disagree, but I also don't see this as "throwing him into the lions den". It's more like a live audition to see what the kid has. Playoffs are out of reach anyway so its not like he's carrying the franchise on his back. I don't believe Grayson is ready to be a starter yet, but I'd love to see what he may be capable of doing in a game situation. Just my thoughts......
