Hardly think the rest of that krewe could do it all... Point of the post regarding over the middle and having a tall receiver, meh... But I'd agree that we do need a big wide receiver that is at least 6' 2" and with a reliable wing span/catch radius who can 'put a body and box out a cornerback' to convert 3rd downs and red zone scores without an upside-down acrobatic catch is essential for this team to winning games... Just picture Cooks getting smothered by Panthers Josh Norman last season for the win in Carolina; if we'd had a younger, healthy Colston, Jimmy Graham or Laquon Treadwell can come down with that pass from McCown and change, quite possibly, the entire season... |

He's way more pass-catcher than blocker... Maybe a move to WR in our system? 6' 2" 230 lbs. |

Before we rush off and rid ourselves of Kenny Vaccaro, consider, Malcolm Jenkins was let go - and has flourished in Philadelphia...
Was Jenkins or the coaching the problem?!? With regards to Browner, it was clearly a bad signing and that became evident to the Saints brain trust they'd screwed up... So with regards to Kenny V, there are a number of questions - should he be a Free Safety? A Slot Cornerback? Is he in the right scheme? Besides, rather add the option year, friendlier cap number, and give us another free agency period and draft to find a replacement... We definitely have more than just safety to address with regards to personnel on this team... |

As with Jenkins, he was simply not very good here. Took bad angles, numerous chances for INT's however the opportunities were there. He didn't get it done in Black and Gold but with focus, re motivated himself and it paid off big time for Philly. Good for Malcolm . Saw my share of the short horns (UT) & was never overly impressed with KV (preferred Eric Reid) as a top pick at safety. I like the fire but that's about the extent of it. This will be a very crucial season for Kenny. Would like a guy out there making solid hits and is always around the ball . |

make sure you have a player first and they have proven their worth before you let anyone walk.
Funny Jenkins learning curve seemed to be one year longer than the saints gave him. Ask yourself who let him go and who drafted his replacement? |

The two thing I give Ireland is he does well drafting a complete secondary and puts a decent front line together also. I do question his lb.'ers though.
