Re: 2016 NFL Draft Prospect Thread ...............
Where are we going to draft him?
As for Jenkins, how is it that he just put it together after leaving us? Could it be because the saints didn't let him be a captain and Philly had dcoaches that made him better? He's better in Philly because he's the captain. The thing with Vacarro is we have been beaten over the head by numerous posters on here saying the pass rush is why the secondary can't make plays. Is Vacarro really bad? |

Keith is a SS with no doubt. reminds me a bit of KV. definitely a better blitzer than KV was coming out of college.
but I am sticking with players pegged to be drafted after him Sean Davis DB Maryland 6011 201 Hands 9 1/2 Arms 31 3/8 Wing 76 40 4.46 20 2.60 10 1.56 3 Cone 6.64 20 Shuttle 3.97 60 Shuttle 11.53 Bench 21 Vertical 37.5 Broad 126" Are the Pittsburgh Steelers ready for another hybrid DB from Maryland? - Louisville - Scout Love this write up because they see what I see. FS with the ability to drop down into coverage when needed. Issue #1 raw. Jumped around the secondary at Maryland. I have and extremely high ceiling on this kid with a solid floor to start working with. 3 years from now he may just shock the NFL. 3rd? I would do it. On the board in the 4th? better have a gift from god dropping in your lap to pass him up. He is right now he is my most over looked prospect in the draft. national media are so wrong basing his draft stock as a CB and last years tape. All last year did was help fine tune his skills to move back to safety. where is that dead horse to beat. A late rounder/UDFA to watch for at SS is Tevin Carter SS Utah 6012 2221 4.52 this kid scopes out the ball carry in a crowd. |

Re: 2016 NFL Draft Prospect Thread ...............
We definitely need a big, physical defensive back...
We could also use another big man in the middle to pair with Jenkins... But Wide Receiver and Tight End have to be serious considerations in this draft... |

WR is a area of need but I am not ruling out RB either. Ezekiel Elliott may not be a top ten talent but the way he perfectly fits the saints offense. His skill set is everything SP wants out of a back. At 12 gotta consider him. Ingram and Ezekiel would make a nice rotation. Heck Ingram may stay healthy all year. |

He needed a wake-up call, which the Saints' coaching staff were for some reason unable to provide when he was still with the team. |

Our son arriving is a whole other crazy story but being our first child, I am humbled on a daily basis and dumbfounded at how quickly 24hrs evaporates without anything but feeding and diapers getting accomplished. Good to see all the familiar "off season faces" here. You are the ones who make this site great. You know what JP? I don't like my picks either. In fact, I'm going to vault Billings to my Round 1, number 12 pick. He's THAT good. Can be a force in either the 3-4 or 4-3, great push and a very quick, agile player at 6'2" and 300+ lbs. He's my final choice. |

Congrats times 2 on the baby 76.
Side note - if that knucklehead Robert Ndemkichi hadn't had the off the field issues, he would be my top choice but I still like your choice of Billings as well as A Robinson . |
