Not only did we go 3-1 we looked really good doing it.

Pre-season matters, payton knows that better than anyone. He is trying to create that winning culture and you don't do that by accepting defeat regardless of the game.

Exactly, even the backups like Chris Reis forced multiple fumbles by effort alone.

I wouldn't panic just yet, the 2nd and 3rd stringers were responsible for pretty much 3 TD's for the patriots, take that away and the defense allowed 11 points.

Brandon Coleman needs to go, I'm sick of seeing his half hearted attempts at catching passes.

Payton has said this himself. He says to get back to the super bowl we need to start fast and get ahead early in the season. That starts with preseason he said. He is playing to win.

Agreed. Payton has a thing about FB, TE and PK! It's the "Draft a stud kicker" that gets me. If it's that easy, draft a franchise QB, LB and DE while you're at it.
