this tread is frustrating... only way it could get worse is if we start talking about trading AB again...

\"Dayne isn\'t trained as a FB. Don\'t get me wrong, I think he\'s a fine addition as a back up RB, but I don\'t see that he has much value as a lead blocker. One of the knocks on Dayne is he doesn\'t use his physical size and agility particularly well on the field - that doesn\'t sound like a guy suite for FB.\"

I agree with that. Dayne can not block despite his size and perceived strength. I beleive the Giants have already tried to convert him over and gave up on that a long time ago. He was in Coughlin\'s doghouse because of his lack of ability to block and was even accused of sheering away from contact in the blocking facet.

This thread really isn\'t about Dayne getting some reps at FB... this freakin thread is really about who likes him coming to NO or not. I say Don\'t believe the hype around him coming he isn\'t all that as a RB. I personally don\'t see him doing anything to contribute to this team. A big RB with no stats worth mentioning. Its a no brainer to say he won\'t play any FB position.

I have to agree with Euphoria on this one! Couldn\'t we just draft R Moats in the 3rd or 4th round and we still have Stecker! Just.....throwin it out there!

With the depth at RB, the Saints can draft an rb in the 4th round and he will provide us with quality depth. I have faith in what Stecker can do because he show\'d us that he can do the job last year.
