Are you satisfied missing the playoffs consistently?

He isn't going anywhere regardless of record, like already said: who's out there that's better?

I dont see it as a stupid question. Or disrespectful. The team has been poor barring one year since 2011. We cant keep blaming the bountygate nonsense and loosing picks.

Poor picks, poor contracts, too many DC. Drafting for s scheme, blowing it up to go 3-4 then blowing that up a year or so later to go bsck to 4-3 its a mess. And for me it starts from the very top with Mr Benson. His family issues and age are now having a effect on the running of the team. There is no pressure on Loomis or Psyton from the top. A poor season and something needs to change

So if we missed the playoffs or even had a disastrous 3-13 type season, you'd be confident in paytons ability?

How can a head coach keep his job regardless of the record he finishes with?

As for the "who's out there" we found SP when he was an offensive coordinator, we could find another.

I am not sure that is a fair statement to say that Benson's family issues are affecting the team. Loomis and Payton have responsibilities specific to the team from a talent and evaluation perspective.

Considering only 12 teams out of 32 teams in the entire NFL make the playoffs, we're far from the only ones who didn't make it...and one of those teams went 15-1, in our own division.

Sure, we're pretty spoiled, but it's Payton and Brees that spoiled us. You can change coaches if you want, but there's always a chance you get WORSE instead of better. Then what? It takes time, and when big gambles don't pay off, it takes a while to dig back out of that hole. We're closer to getting better than getting worse. Trust me.

Yes they are but wouldn't you say a owner more hands on would be starting to put pressure on now. Im not saying you want a Jerry Jones type but somebody who is giving Loomis and Payton the space to do their job but if things are going badly multiple years will make changes if needed.

Now obviously i dont know how much Mr Benson is in control its all guesswork
