I expect it to get done. It's in Brees best interest to take a deal now. If he waits and plays the season and gets hurt or has a production drop off he is screwed. There is a chance He won't be worth anything to anyone. With our offensive line I would say it's more likely than not.

Brees could get injured in the first game of the season and if its not a career ender he would still be besieged by offers

You could guarantee the likes of the Jets(with Brees they'd be SB contenders) the Browns,Bears etc would offer him over 20ml a year for 2 years minimum.
