I would be happy with a 4 year 100 million. Brees is still a top 5 qb and should be over the next 3 to 4 years. To be honest I would back load the last two years. Free up some cap in the next two to make a run.

It's not like it's yalls money. And yes you do pay for tickets but there is no guarantee that you will or should win when you buy those tickets so that excuse is nonsense. You guys have no idea what goes on behind those doors or in the locker room. Fans only understand about 2% of what goes on in football as a business. You are not privy to that info

My kind of family picture AllSaints.

I agree Drew gives the Saints the best shot at being competitive. We have
all said it give him a decent O-line and he can pick apart D's all day long.

Payton is all about an aerial attack, stretching the field and so on, for Brees to play at even a decent level at that age would be more of a ground and pound O with short to intermediate passing game. I don't see it. I want be changing my mind wheather the Saints sign him to a big contract or not, but I will root for the Saints with or without Brees pulling the trigger even if I think it's a good move or not.

Father time is undeniable, but in today's NFL where the QBs are protected like they are, 42 isn't a bad age if he takes care of himself-which he does. We have no idea what level he'll be playing at 42,but until he shows some major regress, I feel no need to worry about father time. All he needs is some good protection. I do understand your concern and respect your opinion though. I do think that 4 yrs. should be max for him.

I concur.
AllSaints should get an award for Best Avatar.

Yes, I know a bunch of us would vote for all the boobs, spread legs, cats, & cartoon characters, etc. But I like AllSaints avatar best.

RaginCajun 83 said it best. That other Saints site is like high school. This one is like a strip bar. lol.

Also, I agree w/ you, RB. A standing Drew Brees can pretty much pick apart any team, which means W's for us. Keep Brees standing. We win. Even with the slightest defensive improvement

25 million by the 4th years will look fair if not possible a bargain. if old man time does not catch up with him or the saints screwing around with the OL does not get him killed first.

sign and trade? Dallas - boat load of picks and Ronald Leary. that puts Dallas in the super bowl chatter for the next couple of years. The saints into the tank and a bunch of picks to try to dig out of the hole and a huge cap space to chase FA
