That\'s just how the Saints rate certain players, it doesn\'t mean that\'s where they are going to get picked. If they have Davis rated as a second rounder, I\'m pretty sure we aren\'t looking to pick him. I\'m surprised to see Munoz down there seeing he plays OT. Guess we aren\'t high on him at all. Darryl Blackstock is shooting up the draft boards and Browner is definately dropping because of the 4.6/4.7 he ran at the combine. Look what happened last year with Nathan Vasher who now plays for the Bears. He feel to the 4th I believe after running his 4.6 and now he\'s a very important contributor to their defense. Browner will be a steal. I would like us to take Eric Green because I really like his makeup and attitude. He\'s very much like his former teammate DeAngelo Hall. It\'s a positive thing that not many people are hyping him up because he\'ll be a solid player for someone.

I\'m just saying...It seems od that any team would feel it neccesary to give an EX Draft Intern any info at all..
It\'s like saying...Hey..I used to be a Cart boy at Wal Mart...and I have big time connects..I know them all.. Know what Im saying? This info moslty sounds like stuff they would put on a pay site to me.. Just my opinion |

Was the drafting intern tittle for real??? You\'re kidding right? You name any organization who would but a non-paid person anywhere near sensative information??? NONE. None-paying job, operations, public afairs even, and ball boy sure but in drafting/scouting??? come on. Even anyone who would consider that idea loses a lot of credeability with me.

EX draft intern, now turned \'\' Independant Consultant\'\'? Then you add in posts like this \'\'I just spoke to Hartwell\'s agent and he told me he is working on a deal with the Chiefs. He also said the Rams have come in lately and are making a run, but it seems Ed wants to play in KC. He also informed me that the Saints DID NOT call his office. In other words, we had no interest in signing him. \'\' Why on Earth would an Agent be handing out vital info on deals pending?..to a non need to know guy too... What agent would risk bieng undersold?..what player would have an agent like that?..and what team would even attempt to make deals with a guy who hands out info like this over the phone to some \'\'Independant Consultant\'\'? people on this board work hard...sometimes for several days at a time, getting stats..info..LINKS....PROOF...things we can sink our teeth into..and just go all out on... it\'s those guys opinions who I truley respect... Guys like Lkelly. Gumbo..Xan...Whodat...and many , many others...whether on not I toally agree with what they say is irrelevant...they make an honest effort..for the good of us all, to be informed..and show PROOF to make thier point heard..and validated... I\'m not sure why..or what your trying to do...but trust me..these guys are WAY too well informed to fall for it for too long.. Give you enough rope, and you\'ll hang yourself... |

I have a great idea. Why don\'t you guys give him a chance to get his point across? I don\'t know that he has these contacts and you don\'t know he doesn\'t. He pm\'d me this morning about all this and said he was going to send me proof of what he says. So I would appreciate it if you would back off for now and lets\' see.

I know secretaries at many companies who know more about the decisionmaking and status of isssues than the executives. I don\'t doubt for a moment that there are relationships that can pass on this kind of information at that level. While I agree with many of the points made on this subject about possible validity, it is not entirely unlikely that the information purposely is passed to advance thinking and test reaction. Remember, this is entertainment, and while competitive, it still must meet the expectations of the viewers. I think that it is possible that the organization passes along to key opinion leaders its concepts and structures to guage reaction and mitigate adverse reaction. In addition, much of the information as noted is not beyond what many on this board have surmised already. What is not distributed is critical negotiation status or tip-offs - that would be unconscionable.
Many have noted that this board is not a venting port. There is serious reflection and analysis here. If you were seeking reaction to potential moves from a wide range of thoughtful and supportive critics in your fan base, where would you look? How would you go about interacting with it? This is exactly the kind of thing that political organizations do (read Republicans, Democrats haven\'t figured this out yet) employ to ensure that points are made and votes are scored. |

Or disprove it either... I remember the first post CanLoomis made, and it blew me away. Without even knowing about his past experience with the Saints organization, I knew he had to have worked there in some capacity. Maybe he\'s just a son of a friend of a coach who\'s daughter he\'s dating married his brother... maybe he\'s a complusive liar with 3 nipples... maybe he\'s a computer hacker that hacked into some elite Saints secret files... maybe he really worked for the Saints... heck WHO CARES! He\'s pretty informative and it\'s a good read. Hell I HATE MEL KIPER because every year he\'s full of crock, but I still read his articles.

Ok...like I said..add it up...
Let\'s just say...he has an inside to the Saints.... Why on earth would an agent , who is trying to make a deal with KC..be giving info to guy who is unemployed by the Chiefs...or any team at all?..Then...Why would someone who was granted this kind of inside..private info..be spilling it out on the Net?...What kind of person does that? Hmmmm.... |
