I didn't and nor did I feel that way. I felt the '14 team was frigan horrible. The defense had 6 sakcs, two more turnovers. we're getting there. not there yet, but getting there. could go 7-9, definitely, but I feel like this team is better and I see it. might not be there yet, but we have the makings of a good team. The defense is better. 5 sacks, two turnovers, and the stops needed to put the Saints in a position to win all happened today.
Giving up only 23 points with 4 turnovers by the offense is encouraging.

Honestly more than anything else this game was a "Welcome to the NFL Rookie" moment for Michael Thomas. What he learns and how he rebounds from it will be telling about the kid's character.

Also Atlanta lost.

Disappointed? Sure. discouraged? Not quite yet.

Taking out Carolina Thursday can more than make up for this loss.

They did everything they could to lose this game on offense and special teams, and they finally succeeded.

and some things to win, 6 or 7 sakcs, two turnovers. can't cough it up 4 times, though, no doubt about that. you're right, but let's see what next week brings. I do truly feel and believe we have the makings of a good team.

We lose to ATL, DET and TB.

7-9 with all the hope in the world going into the offseason, and it's likely we'll do the same thing next year. Lol

Edit: I'll have to throw another loss in there to get that 7-9 but you get the point... Same season 3 years running...

The only games that I am even mildly concerned about are Rams & Arizona; I believe we run the table in the division, and I don't see Detroit beating us.

What do detroit do well? Make 4th quarter comebacks, they have 5 so far.

What do the Saints do well? Give away leads in the 4th quarter...

yeah, definitely right there. 4 turnoversand the st bobble thing in the endzone, yeah man. Tough loss as a fan, I am sure it is for them guys too.
