The thing is, the excuses for some of the losses have been an injured defense. But the defense showed up today. To see us blow the game on offense at home is a big disappointment to me.

This is the saints, should be used to them blowing leads and snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

I am used to it, sadly. That's why I don't get caught up in just keeping it close.

Me too Brother, it really takes the fun out of gameday when you can never relax.

At 17-10 if we had scored a TD, i don't think they come back, but no Thomas had to fumble, and then fumble again.

That should have been a penalty, the rule clearly states what is considered leverage. The guy landed on the center.

Rule states:
(o) Jumping or standing on a teammate or opponent to block or attempt to block an opponent’s kick.

Disappointed yes but I saw some nice work on the D-line today.
And no matter what Brees keeps us in games like no other Saint
QB that I can remember.

The defense was very good today. I thought Breaux was awful, but the pressure on the QB was unlike anything I've seen in a few years from this team. It's the awful turnovers and special teams blunders that cost us. sometimes you get beat, and that's never fun. But beating yourself hurts more. We gave it away today.

I was very proud of the defense, and they deserve recognition. It's a shame it was wasted.
