Hey thanks Joe. I appreciate what ya did. But you\'re 33. See Joe Montana. See Drew Bledsoe. See Jerry Rice. See Tim Brown. See Emmitt Smith. And on and on and on. Teams DO NOT hold on to players just cause of what they did in the past. If that was the case, how did all these hall of famers get to leave their teams and finish their careers elsewhere? Earl Campbell, Ken Stabler, Rickey Jackson, Sam Mills, Pat Swilling. None finished their careers where they had their greatest success. Archie. Starting to see it now? The NFL is a BUSINESS, plain and simple. You don\'t get paid for what you did, you get paid for what you WILL continue to do. See Bruce Smith. Is Joe better than any of these guys? No. Did they finish their careers on the same team? No.

I must agree. I heard a GM state on WWL a few weeks back that team loyalty to older popular players is a death blow to NFL teams nowadays.

I think Joe is worth somewhere between what he wants and what he\'s due to get. Damm, I sound like a politician.
