Because this was his 11th season. I prefer not to wait until the wheels fall off before we start looking for his replacement

The best defenses in the league do not allow those screen plays. Sproles in 2013 was subpar, which was why he was traded. He was just a decoy really. It's also rediculous to think Brees(or Payton) needs screen passes to win.

And if Payton trades up to get that one guy, a lot of us will be outraged.

Interior flexibility to groom

Ethan Pocic C/OG/OT LSU 6056 309 5.18 Sr #77 Sr
Mr versatility. has played every position in his time at LSU

Mason Cole C/OG/OT Michigan 6045 305 5.06 #52 rJr
strength and athleticism

Need a swing OT to groom

Ryan Ramczyk OT/OG Wisconsin 6052 314 5.29 #65 rJr
back injury worries me

Garret Bolles OT/OG/DT Utah 6052 296 4.97 #75 Jr
nasty, mean mobility/balance. 296 is rock solid

Mike McGlinchey RT/LT Notre Dame 6072 310 5.22 #68 rJr
Steady Eddie does nothing great but what he does he does well

Avery Gennesy OT/OG Texas A&M 6045 305 5.08 #65
needs some work but he is about as flexible as they come

The draft is solid in players that fit our needs and can play all over the OL. Right or Left no big deal. they swing

Trade back and snag both in round 2

Ethan Pocic C/OG/OT LSU 6056 309 5.18 Sr #77 Sr

I would be feeling mighty good about OL future going into 2017

The man caught 71 passes for 600 yards. Do you understand this, and it was only 15 catches less than his first season with us. He ran way more than screen plays, as a matter of fact our best rb at running a screen play was PT. Sproles ran a variety of routes. It would certainly not hurt to have that type of mismatch again and forces the defense to account for another offensive weapon

I always like the idea of more picks, but SP never trades back...I don't know why

The eagles are RUN FIRST team. We cannot compare to them but I saw several times in 2013, a screen play to Sproles ended in negative yards. We don't need this. Payton needs this but Brees doesn't.

I didn't, he had 71 catches for 600 yards. We used to run screens better than any team in the entire league. Toward the end of this season we started getting more productive with screens again. Nice to see.

WTf are you talking about Philly for. They don't even have the same head coach man. You are all over the place spewing nonsense. I said it would help create mismatches and it would.

This thread was not asking for your opinion of Darren Sproles, what Drew Brees needs vs the needs of SP, or what the hell the Philadelphia Eagles base plan of attack is. It was a thread created to see if people could identify a candidate for those duties. Now go create a 6 layer (and yes that says layer not player) 8 team trade Post, please.

Your team stinks

Brady need screens? ever here of Dion Lewis or James White?

Remember another kid named Kevin Faulk?

You damn straight, Skippy, NE relies on the screen pass...

Rodgers hasn't won sh*t since he hasn't had his running backs...

ALL, and I mean ALL, successful teams rely on the screen pass...

Even Oakland won more games in a generation this season because of the screen pass...

Tampa Bay had a mini run in the middle of the season with a healthy Jacquizz Rodgers doing damage...

If you don't have the screen pass in your arsenal - you're not going very far...
