Te'o has drawn zero interest in free agency, with New Orleans his only reported visit. Recovering from a torn Achilles' tendon, Te'o won't be gifted a starting job if he lands with the Saints. He'll have to earn it. Mar 20 - 1:08 PM

I get trying to make the D better, but go after guys that a) aren't always injured and b) are actually good players.

Speaks volumes that no teams except us called him.

Remember Drew's circumstances. No one else wanted him after his shoulder injury but we took the chance and it paid off. Maybe it happens again?

But why add another often-injured linebacker to our linebacker corps ? He has missed 25 games in 4 seasons. With Zach Brown & Hodges still available, this is a puzzling FA signing. I would have even taken a flyer on Minter. Saints don't need "locker room" guys, we need talented, skilled linebackers that can impose their will on the opponent on a consistent basis. Last time I can remotely remember Teo's play on the field, he was getting trucked by the Bama O line in that championship game years ago. We've been catfished ;) !

Maybe they are pushing Stephone out the door?

End rant.

Well we haven't added him 'til he makes the final 53 or whatever the number is these days. We have been historically bad. I just don't see any harm in it - not saying the guy is a beast, just sayin' there's no harm in bringing in as many people as we can - let 'em fight for it.

He nothing more than a camp body. If he somehow makes the team it means he deserves it. We'll have 90 players that will be shooting for those 53 spots.

He did play for Nolan a couple of seasons ago, so there's that I guess.

Low risk. If he doesn't work it it won't cost us millions for a change.

Manti of the broken heart T'eo had played for Mike Nolan in San Diego...

Here's the thing, really good position coaches like Nolan, like to bring in "one of their guys" when they're trying to install a new program for a position including calisthenics, drills, film study, etc as that guy can help the others transition quickly to how that position coach likes positional practices "choreographed" if you will...

In a 4-3 Defense, usually you have four (4) OLB and three (3) ILB on an NFL roster, the fact we have four (4) signals competition and can be a feint for the draft...
