Re: 2017 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook
Eventual Brandon Coleman replacement maybe? Dan Arnold has better measurables in almost every category except 40 time (but Arnold has the faster 10 yard split) and strength (but it's not like Coleman actually uses his strength to outmuscle anyone.)
A year on the practice squad and maybe we have something. |

DE (2) 57 - Alex Okafor, 91 -Trey Hendrickson (R3, P103), 97 -Al-Quadin Muhammad (R6, P196), 58 - Obum Gwacham
Good battles here. Okafor can be disruptive IF the man stays healthy. |

Have Kikaha as a LBer because the Saints also list him as a linebacker... |

I understand they want to look at the guys in different formations to find the best fit... But, I've got to wonder if one series per day is enough to evaluate a player... I firmly support competition, but you've got to really see some reps to know what you have... And I'll offer this - Stephone Anthony was a beast his rookie season at the MIKE for the Saints; he should get some serious reps there again with Mike Nolan now on the team... Nolan has a proven track record with front sevens and defenses and I believe D.A. will need to swallow his ego a bit and give Nolan (and Nielsen) room to get the front seven fixed... |
