Re: 2017 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook
Cooks fifth-year option on Cooks for 2018 at about $8 million? better get him under contract instead. The saints better draft players to free him up more also.
Anthony is still my gut trade bait Cook is possible but I am not buying into it Armstead due to injuries year after year is one to knock around but Peat I am not sold on at LT but the saints always do silly things with the OL year in and year out. Kikaha would fetch a bag of non magic beans IMO injuries yet again. |

Only way I'd trade Anthony, we get Foster in first round, then you move him to an AFC team... Peat not a LT? Many of those games he played with only one game of practice at LT... Kikaha's value is down; he should have been traded last year when we knew he wasn't an obvious fit... |

See I disagree. If the saints stuck with a 34 we would not be talking about him as trade bait.
If Hightower plays a stupid game in FA I would not be surprised yo see New England make a play for him in a trade involving the 32nd in some kind of package deal. |

Re: 2017 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook
NE would make him a stud in a 3-4, and to think we were that close to put the finishing touches on a 3-4 is ludicouis. All we had to do is hire the right coaches and let them bring in their own staff but Payton likes pulling the strings on his puppets to much to let that happen. These are the reasons our D continues to be at or near the bottom of the barrel each year. Going to be interesting how this D does under Allen this season?

Unlike some teams, the Pats value draft picks and build through the draft and it seems to translate to consistent success... The Pats keep their defense young, rarely re-signing vets which translates to younger, faster, stronger and better... Really think everyone needs to calm down about Stephone Anthony and let Mike Nolan do his thing... The linebacker I have concerns about are Hau'oli Kikaha; not just injuries, but his poor fit into Allen's scheme... I'd start ringing 3-4 teams and gauge his market to see if he could be moved... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

32 for Anthony and 43 Pats would have to kick in an additional pick or picks. I would think one of those weighted pick for next years draft, based on performance. Pats do not play sit the player because of a pick game like so many other teams do. I really do not want to see him go nor do I believe he will |
