Let me help. The original point I made was that those 5 losses were on the offense. There was nothing more to it than that. It didn't go any further.

And you want to be warm and fuzzy because of two Ingram fumbles that he never repeated? Cut Ingram!!

You keep going on and on and on and on and on and on and on about something that is meaningless considering the defense was decimated and the special teams were poor.

What point are you trying to make or are you just *****ing for the simple point of *****ing?

BTW- After I totally obliterated your stupid they were forcing it point with facts I noticed your next post failed to mention that again, and you quickly attempted the bait and switch. It really isn't working, but by all means continue.

You keep talking about irrelevant things. I said the offense was responsible for those 5 losses. I have no idea what you're on about.

The old bait and switch.

Our prayers have been answered.
The off-season just got 100x more interesting overnight.
And you guys want to argue hypotheticals

Man I love this place!

Now let's go get Jeff Fisher AND Gus Bradley!

If you seriously think the offense was solely responsible for five of the nine loses you are insane.

Now you're changing the topic. So let me get you back on topic.

The point I made was simply this, it did not extend further:

The Offense was responsible for 5 of our losses.

You can't expect the offense to be superman all the time. That's why you have to have a good defense. A good defense will pick up the slack when the offense is not playing it's best. ie, Denvers defense in 2015 and the Super Bowl. Payton Manning was done. It was Denver's defense that shut down fig Newton and won that Super Bowl. If the Saints had a defense like that you wouldn't need to blame the offense because they didn't play lights out 100 percent of the time.

The offense is to blame for those 5 losses. Plain and simple.

Give up. He's being totally illogical. Every offense makes mistakes. An average defense would cover those mistakes. A horrible defense wouldn't. Is that the fault of the offense or the defense?

Pretty clear to anyone without an agenda.

actually, outside of a few, people like yourself and Danno, guys that were completely wrong about this team, everyone is well aware of the games our offense cost us. They cost of 5 games, 5 losses were solely on the offense.

Unfortunately you have offered nothing substantial. It is more than clear those 5 games were loss by the offense and it has already been proven.

Unfortunately you probably haven't read everything I wrote, so when you go back and look at what was already discussed come back, but those 5 losses were solely, solely on the offense. It really isn't tunnel vision, it is just facts. I didn't create them, did you actually watch those 5 games or go through the play by play to refresh your memory? It might help you to do that, maybe it would give you a different perspective.

What part of the obvious concept of if the defense and special teams were not so horrible, average mistakes by the offense that that happen to all teams would not have been game changing?

For example, Ingram had two fumbles all season. You blame two loses on him. Dallas' Elliot had FIVE fumbles but there defense and special teams made them less of an impact.

4 turnovers in a game with 1 inside your 40 and 2 inside your 30 rates as average now, I wasn't aware. Nice one

That's a nice bait and switch, but the offense was responsible for those 5 losses and reasons have already been stated. If you want to attack some of what I wrote as it pertains to those 5 games go for it.

I have read every word you have written, regardless of how misguided they have been. You have blamed everything on the offense when in every game you reference the defense and/or the special teams were horrible. The offense would have had to play near perfect games to win those games. You are fixated on a fictitious history.

You claim so many of your fellow members believe the same. I say you are full of crap. You are the ONLY one spouting this crap.

We are going to be a real average defense for once. I firmly believe this is the case. It was time to drain the bayou.

Those same things happen to teams with decent defenses and special teams all the time, but they don't lose.

You are getting irrational.

The defense let up 9 points against the Giants. Horrible. I hear ya,
The Defense let up 16 points against the Bucs, Horrible you say
The Defense let up 20 points against the Chiefs, horrible you say
The defense let up 23 points had 6 sacks and two turnovers against the Broncos and held them to FG's after two turnovers, one at our 34 and one at our 20. horrible.
Against the Panthers they let up 23 points even though the offense had two turnovers inside our 35 yard line. The panthers longest drive was 51 yards, horrible

Like has been proven all 5 of those losses were solely on the offense

And our defense played decent versus Denver racking up 6 sacks and 2 interceptions, especially considering the offense put them in awful positions. So the offense is to blame for the Denver loss.

How can that be considered narrow minded? He listed games which I agree the offense lost for us, but also agreed the defense wasn't good in the other games.

If anyone is narrow minded, it's the ones that absolutely refuse to blame the offense, even when they turn the ball over 4 times in a game.

No, you are wrong. The defenses of the Giants, Bucs, Chiefs, Broncos and Panthers all among the best. That forces the offense to take more chances when your defense and special teams suck. Those are the very teams that would take advantage of the pressure placed upon the offense.

Wrong, friend. I said the defense and special teams played poorly all season and the offense was repeatedly forced to take chances. But, yes, there were tipped passes that resulted in picks. There were untimely fumbles. There were forces passes. I never said the defense played horribly in those losses. They played well considering.
