We brought in some young guns to coach this young team. Everyone we let go was over seventy anyway...............

Nielsen has always been known for his energy. I was photo editor of the newspaper at NC State so I have always followed the team closely. This is from a story from 2012 about Nielsen's being hired as a new DL coach for the Wolfpack ...

"Ryan is one of the best technicians on the defensive line that I've ever been around," said Doeren (Head Coach). "He played the game at a very high level and learned to coach from a number of great defensive minds. He has great energy and passion for his players and is a tireless and energetic recruiter."
His motor has never slowed down.

Side note - saw Jim Mora on a Sports tv broadcast a few weeks back. He looks great...had no idea he was 82 years old.

I'd agree with the Belichick and McCarthy; Payton would thrive in Pittsburgh because all the power is broken up, shared among the different assigned roles within that organization...

Amazing how Dan Roushar really knows how to gel a different blocking unit each and every week...

Good draft picks also helps...
