Re: 2017 New Orleans Saints Draft - Scouting Prospect Visits, Bowl Games
I meant I was not able to do any draft breakdown. That will make the draft boring for me because I'm not aware of the talent.
I wish I could do some but I have a essay to write and that's not including a whole chapter I have to read on the Holocaust(Hitler)? I'll see if I can catch up but I'm already gonna fail this latest test(I now know college is not about waiting on your professor you have to know what to do based on the schedule). |

1. Don't assume anybody already has the slightest clue as to what you're talking about. Actually explain as you go. 2. Stay on topic. Don't go bird walking around all over. Especially in the same sentence. 3. I'm noticing your punctuation is getting better. Keep working on it! Hey, I teach this **** for a living (along with wood working, computers and some other stuff -very small school district). |

Re: 2017 New Orleans Saints Draft - Scouting Prospect Visits, Bowl Games
Defensive end
I have looked at three here based on top positioning in the combine drills I consider most important.........40 time, bench press, vertical and broad jumps. I then look at the averages of these tops and rank accordingly. 40 Time 1.Jordan Willis, Kansas State Jordan was the only one to have a 40 time under 4.60. Now here is a game tape I wouldn't say this looked too good. As one of his critiques is he takes off too quick. Bench Press Carl Lawson, Auburn Lawson had the highest bench reps at 35 and one of three over 30. Here is a game tape https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_c...&v=6zybapWALio His tape looked better than Willis, given he was often blocked by Clemson's o-line. Verical and Broad Jumps The same person have both these distinctions and who else is it? From A&M https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_c...&v=YKETsLN1ECQ His vertical jump is the only one to go past 40 inches and he's one of three with 127. His tape is by far the best of the three. Garrett happens to be in the top four in all four. Leading the jumps, 4th at 40 time with 4.64, second in bench press with 33. Willis, however, is right behind Garrett in the vertical jump with 39.00. He is in the top five in broad jumps at 123. His weakness is bench press where he's pressed 24 in 10th place. Lawson's great at one thing, benching. But his 40 time(4.67), his vertical jump(33 inches), and broad jump is 113, our of the 120 threshhold, are average or worst. I could see saints waiting until the second round to address DE if Garrett is gone where Willis will be available. 1.Myles Garrett 2.Jordan Willis 3.Carl Lawson(undraftable) I will look at the other two highly ranked DEs tomorrow. |
