- nicknamed the "human joystick", and called by NFL.com as Darren Sproles 2.0. Small but quick, stops on a dime and makes great cuts with excellent vision

I see now why he's nicknamed "Joystick". Very Barry Sanderesque. But 5'6" / 179 lbs? Wonder how long he would last.

Re: Fanspeak 2017 NFL Draft Simulator

fun to watch but i question his willingness to block at this point as a 3rd down back. He is not as bad as D'Onta Foreman who will get a QB killed to avoid picking up a blitz. He is a solid option IMO

Fanspeak's On the Clock NFL Mock Draft Simulator - JP's Second Run, Fewer Reaches
Most mocks have Foster gone by then, but I would love that pick. If he is there at 9 I'd like to see us move up. I don't think the Bills at 10 are a threat.
I love Adoree Jackson- the type of guy that can save you a few a roster spot or two as well- he actually caught 27 passes two years ago when USC was still very low on scholarship players

I am waiting for the combine... but I would sign off on moving up to get Foster.

I have been somewhat critical on the Saints for trading up (Sedrick Ellis, Mark Ingram, Cooks, etc.) but this is a year where I wouldn't argue with going up to get a true difference-maker.

Assuming the Saints FO stays put at #11, cross your fingers Cincy or Buffalo go corner back or safety.

Isn't Darren Sproles 5' 6"?

I'd love it if Adoree' came in and played nickel and fielded punt returns kick off returns; with the triplets on offense, why overwork him?

Now Foster could fall to us; but Buffalo is taking him if he's there, unless there's a quarterback or wide receiver they really like...

Though, the Bills may shy away from Clemson receivers...

With the shoulder injury, I don't know, Foster could fall to Pick No. 11...

Buffalo could use a MLBer but they also need weapons on the outside, and may even need a QB...

Round 1, Pick 11: Derek Barnett - DE - Tennessee - the compliment to Cam Jordan. FInally legit pressure from both ends
I'm not seeing Barnett's game translating to our defense, much less the NFL as he's a one-trick pony - Keep seeing Danny Wuerffel - Great College Player, Lacks elite athleticism for a pick this high, and lacks size, length for the Pro 4-3 DE; and it showed when playing the SEC big dogs; we've seen his ceiling...

Can think of four, five cornerbacks I'd take ahed of Conley; if we're taking a CB this high, be sure he's an NFL starter...

Is he out of the ARD (Accelerated Rehab Disposition) program? You know, normally for non-violent types but in his case he's a college thug-life type that should be doing three to five for aggravated assault with conspiracy but because he and Reddick are local college thug heroes, they get special dispensation with a non-admission plea? Besides, Dawkins' technique is awful; maybe Houston will pick him and JJ Watt will beat his @ss in training camp and he'll wash out...

I like this guy, I really do; reminds me of a Sam Mills/Zach Thomas type potential, but there are a couple of these guys per draft season and their size is their undoing; you picked him where he's slotted, but I'd wait and see if he fall to mid-fifth, maybe sixth and then move to get him...

We had Darren Sproles 1.0 and let him out of the door and was perfectly summarized by Drew Brees, "You only see a Darren Sproles type of player come around once in your career." We were saying the same thing with Murphy...

"...but tendency to drop balls..." - Don't we have this guy under contract already? Or do we just want that player at a cheaper clip? Actually I like Saubert and he'll be more of a Todd Christensen type tight end and a little more reliable than the Human Mullet...

It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Foster won't be doing drills at combine. He may not even be ready by 'Bama Pro Day...
