Maybe it's just my imagination working overtime, but if we did move Cooks perhaps we could consider adding Brandon Marshall. Yes he is getting older, but having a very physical possession receiver like Marshall intrigues me. It could bolster our running game and could give our admittedly soft offense some ooomph. Also when you consider that Brees would be far and away the best QB that Marshall has ever worked with, that seems like a plus.

I said eirlier they could sweeten the deal and if they really want Cook and they will. BB will fleece Payton and have Payton smile about it.

Just on a side note, if Cooks does get dealt to the Patriots, how is he going to cope? The patriots run more than we do and Brady spreads it around the same as Brees?

Let's trade him to the Browns instead, they have 2 first round picks.
