WR John Ross, Washington, 5' 11", 190 lbs, 4.22 sec 40 yd*, 37 inch vertical jump, 11' 1" long jump

Posted the stats to show how eerily similar the two players really are...

Each can be elite slot receivers who can get the jump on slower, bigger slot cornerbacks...

Or they can line up outside and pull safeties way back for their teammates

Or even just blow the top off for the big play if they're disrespected...

Of these two players, one is about to get a big jump in salary cap money...

And Ross has two bum knees. No thanks. Don't want him. Rather keep Cooks.

Exactly. Big risk and hoping that you end up with what you already had.

We said Payton wouldn't move up when we took Cooks, no receiver was worth it...

If you don't mind, don't jinx it as we'd really like to get some defense...

I'm getting kinda tired of this... especially now that Cooks and Thomas are trading barbs on social media. Let's get this over with.

Saints fans may eat it up, but players really need to stay away from social media...

Coach Payton is having an anti-social media shield installed at the Saints locker room et al facilities...

Gotta get off the Twitter and Instagram fellas...

Re: Brandin Cooks Trade Talks

Ross cramped after his 40 and couldnt participate in the other drills. His biggest knock is his inability to stay on the field, and that's why he's not considered a high first rounder. We don't need any more of those risks on our team.

Hey, I'm on y'all team - my preference is a high impact defender in round 1, if we are at 11 I'm hoping Foster or one of the elite cornerbacks...

If we go offense, it'd be OT Ryan Ramczyk, Wisconsin - if we have a trade for Armstead and a mid first round pick and a fourth coming right back to us...

did the pats make the right price on cooks that he was worth a 32nd pick only i'm not liking it but u have to see where there coming from. then payton immediately tossing it out like its a bs offer? if we don't accept a pick lower that 11 we are not going to get a fair trade, if its above 11 its a swap pick. and no other picks later.

It wasn't the 32nd pick that Payton had a problem with, it's the fact the patriots wanted our 2nd or 3rd round pick as well as Brandin Cooks.
