The team had to trade something of equal value. A 7th for a 3rd makes no sense.

Traditionally a pick in next year's draft has an equivalent value to a pick one round lower in the current draft. So a 2nd next year is in the ballpark of a third this year.

Finally Kamarra has a 2nd round grade on most boards.

So dude will be considered a 2nd round pick next year that the team gets this year with the additional cost of a 7th round pick.

If he can come in and be half of what Sproles was at the top of his game in the Saints offense, then maybe it'll pan out...

They make stupid trades then try to recoupe the value when they try to trade the player away. Stupid! I like the pick but hate the trade maybe we can get that pick back by trading 1 of our 3rds. Wishful thinking
