I was driving all night and just caught up. I'm ok with most of the picks, but one really hurts. I can't believe they took Anzelone over Williams.

Tim Williams will be the next Terrell Suggs and Alex Anzelone will be the next Sedrick Hodge.

Payton is putting all the pieces in place to have his job saved by excuses.

Drafting players that have multiple injuries so everyone can say "we are so unlucky with injuries, it's not Payton's fault" and drafting mismatch players so he can atleast have a great offense to offset the awful defense.

He and the FO are completely out of touch with the NFL, they consistenly preach "best player available," well that's great because we have 100 DB's and 50 linebackers but no true difference maker.

The players were there to be drafted and time after time they bypass a "Derek Barnett" type player and just leave you scratching your head.

Payton would choose Martez Wilson a thousand times over if Kalil Mack was still on the board.

New Orleans Saints: Trey Hendrickson, DE, Florida Atlantic: A- Grade
The Saints' draft thus far has been a roller coaster, and this is another "up." I projected Trey Hendrickson to be chosen early in the third round with a chance to sneak into the second frame. Hendrickson is a terrific athlete who was productive in college, so I thought he would be taken off the board earlier than this. He fills a need for the Saints, so this is a great selection.
