What is your expectation for the season, even though it is a little early? |

As far as the season..I dunno. I'm feeling good about the coaching changes and really think it is being over looked by everyone on the outside. All good, we do better as under dogs anyway. I think we are going to see some vast improvement from the D side barring that the injury bug leaves us alone. Unless we have a major implosion, I'm feeling a winning season. Enough to get to the playoffs? I dunno. I'm just ready to get it started so we can quit all the fighting over semantics. The past is the past. We sucked and were not good enough. But changes have been made so lets keep a hopeful outlook and support our boys in the black and gold. |

But I agree completely, the past is the past. It is time to move on and look forward to a much more promising future. |

Again we have to win one of the first two. I think that is key. |

Re: Playoffs or bust?
Spike-Buh, Im expecting a Super Bowl. Yes, I really am.
Somehow Payton always manages to Cajun-Rig together an offensive line, and if he can do it this year again, we have the pieces to blow up the world on Offense. As crazy as I think Guido is here... (In real life, he's probably normal, just like Foreverfan, who is not a rabid, psycho in a basement, with a fridge full of severed heads, wearing a batman suit, as his online persona suggests, but a completely normal guy like you would know from school, like an insurance selling kind of guy, who drives a normal car, with a smoking hot wife.) Anyway, as crazy as Guido comes off here, he mades some hellacious points about the improvement on Defense, on all three levels, and especially the secondary. Hes not the only source I've heard say the leadership, the assistants on staff, are greatly improved, and have potential to create magic. We're one or two crazy guys away from great special teams... pending Forbath's consistency, and the best punter since Ray Guy, Thomas Morestead. We are the greatest fans in Sports, and have the power to bring it any week, and New Orleans, the city after my heart, deserves another Champion. Kool Aid? Maybe. I thought Richard Todd would take us all the way in 1984. But win or lose, I will be raising 12 kinds of hell in the Terrace this year. I just cant wait. |
