Apparently it was just a freak thing. He was working with tackling dummies and fell in an awquard position on a mat.
I have had 3 surgeries to repair labrum and rotator cuff. It sucks. It was ten years ago and I still feel it sometimes. They literally had to drill a button into my bone and loop it around it.

Bright side is maybe this will be it. As bad as injuries have been the past several years odds say we are due for a break.

On a side note I have torn a few labia in my lifetime.

I'd choose the latter (tackle). Circle back to last season. When Armstead was injured, Peat moved from GUARD to LEFT TACKLE. Coach Roushar plugged in someone else to play G. Again, the nasty edge rushers in the NFL are coming off the edge, not up the middle.

I think Peat will see a lot of time at tackle to protect #9's blind side.

31, but we only need him for the year
Austin Pasztor is an option as well. Maybe Jake Long will get off the couch for the opportunity to block for a couple hall of famers

If it's about getting the best players on the field you leave Peat at LG and Ramczyk plays LT. Here's a guy talented enough to be a first round pick and what good would it do us leaving him on the bench now that we have a hole on the O-Line? If he wasn't capable he wouldn't be here.

I understand the hesitation though. It's scary having a rookie protecting Drew's blindside, but an O-Line of Ramczyk-Peat-Unger-Warford-Strief can still give us one of the best lines in the league.

Main thing will be to get Unger back healthy, strong at Center...

We've got three LT on the roster in Armstead, Peat, and Ramcyzk...

Armstead is good, when healthy, but when was he last healthy?

I'd worry more about the interior, Center, than LT if I'm a Saints fan...

Maybe, just maybe Ramczyk balls out as a rookie ... shades of Carl Nicks 2.0.

I saw someone say this over on Reddit:

"I remember when we lost our star LT before the 2009 season too."

That's the kind of optimism I'm sticking with too for now otherwise it'll be a long summer!

Much better than always expecting doom and gloom like others. Bravo!
