If Strief is to be believed, and why wouldn't he be, Peat is going to be staying at LG. Interesting. |

We may want to keep him at 1 spot, especially since he seems to be mastering it now. |

"Why yes I am a Genius, just ask me!"
I listen to Rick Venturi on the radio here in Indy. He can tell you what the Colts need to do to win, how to stop the other team ect. ect. ect. Yet when he's been a real coach with a team what happened? As an NFL HC he is 2 - 19. He talks the talk but talk is cheap! |

Ryan Clady sounds like a decent stop-gap.
I'd imagine we already have a list of 10 or so veteran LT's that could possibly be cut before the season starts. |

Austin Pasztor is an option as well. Maybe Jake Long will get off the couch for the opportunity to block for a couple hall of famers |

Re: Armstead out 4 - 6 months (shoulder)
If it's about getting the best players on the field you leave Peat at LG and Ramczyk plays LT. Here's a guy talented enough to be a first round pick and what good would it do us leaving him on the bench now that we have a hole on the O-Line? If he wasn't capable he wouldn't be here.
I understand the hesitation though. It's scary having a rookie protecting Drew's blindside, but an O-Line of Ramczyk-Peat-Unger-Warford-Strief can still give us one of the best lines in the league. |
