Especially now that they're practicing in Cover 2 and he has half the field now that he's responsible...

It's early, and I'm sure D.A. and Bell will get it fixed because I don't want another season of not getting off the field on 3rd downs...
Definitely noticing a hesitation or misstep that's really costing him (and the whole defense) those precious few moments that make the difference between getting off the field and getting gashed for another 1st or worse, a score.

Re: Saints secondary is aiming to be the strength of the defense

For me, the guy's who's development is most important this season is Marcus Williams...

I don't think we'll see many heavy nickel sets (3-safeties) as we've now got legit linebackers on the roster...

So he and Bell will have to compete and I believe Williams is the better athlete, playmaker that we need there...

If Bell continues to progress along his arc, then you may not forced to spend as much on Vaccaro's contract...

Gotta feeling Vaccaro, though, is going to be like Ingram on offense, where he really doesn't get it till after Year 5...

Then, you almost have to recoup your investment...

Why do you like Banjo over Harris?

Rough start for Swann, but he's picked it up...

Moore and Maulet have to show higher ceilings...

Harris needs to take the next step...

Moore is proven, durable, consistent, and brings a little leadership to the position.
He's not a pro bowler and probably never will be but you can usually count on him.
Swann just has injury issues so who knows what the call is there. Probably be a last minute decision between the two.
I think Moore is pretty safe unless he gets hurt. He's a good insurance policy.

Just a gut feeling that he needs to put up or shut up right quick like.
This stood out more than I thought it would last year were as he did a better job at tackling than I expected.

I fear we now have two safeties with the same skill set.

Are Kenny and Von are two peas in a pod?

Time will tell

I head several players say their focus will be man to man more this year. I agree the emphasis on cover 2 is because they need extra work there to be more complete.
