I doubt it. They just want to give fans more to read about than how much we suck. He never talks contract during the season and the way this season is going, especially with the lack of protection or running game to take pressure off. I think it would be dumb for him to do so. UNLESS it has just become all about the money now and less so about the team and winning games.
I would put money on him not resigning. Especially if Payton is still here. I do agree he is our best option. Nobody is going to come around that is any better in the near future. |
