Looking at photos of Arden Key at the combine, I've kidded that he looks like Dave Chappelle on meth - it's the WOW factor, and NOT in the good way...

There's no way in hell I'd want him setting the edge on my 4-3 defense, not even a 3-4 defense; I've seen more impressive WRs physically than he looked and showed...

If Key was going to be LSU's Draft Poster Boy for recruiting, Coach O better polish up his resume so King Alexander and Joe Alleva can continue to handicap LSU...

Although I am not in favor of trading Armstead, I can see a valid argument to do so. The oft injured Armstead is one major reason why the Saints would need more quality depth on the offensive line. Moving Armstead could "kill two birds with one stone". It could stabilize the starting lineup of the line AND give the Saints the means of adding another quality piece to that squad.

Depth?

LT Terron Armstead (Has played less than 16 games in last two seasons)
LG/LT Andrus Peat (Played LT 8+ gms 2016, Played LT 9+ gms 2017)
RT/LT Ryan Ramczyk (Played LT 2+gms including start 1st career game)
LG/LT Jermon Bushrod (Starting LT for Superbowl Winning Saints 2010)

We have depth and could spend the draft pick we'd get back on a LG, C, RG, RT and still have a great starting unit...

We're spending too much money and have too many LT to not make the move and address other areas, even along the offensive line...

I'd rather had kept Senio Kelemete instead of Demario Davis and moved Armstead...

Memphis wide receiver Anthony Miller

Payton is an aggressive coach, and I would not be surprised to see him try and make another “Alvin Kamara” type move up to get a player.

If someone starts to fall due to a run on a position or the usual pick for need comes into play, one player that could tumble a little is Miller.

As with anything man-made and especially a model, there's bound to be a flaw in the NFL Draft trade chart(s). If so, someone will figure it out someday and get a great draft.

Then "everybody" will follow suit and the opportunity will be gone. Personally, I think some of the very lowest rounds are "undervalued." They call it a Draft for a reason.

Why wouldn't a team want to draft (i.e. force) some players to play for them instead of hoping in UDFA?

DL is a reach & 27. Probably have to do it but man, I would love to have Gesicki. Our TE's are ok but down the stretch it really hurt us. Need a EZ big body target. Rest of the draft will be excellent value with all the QB's going early. No reason we can't land a couple of starters again.
