Re: We Had An Ugly Game

Being down two corners and and a defensive end was what scared me going into the game but the offensive game plan just felt sloppy. I know the execution was sloppy. The Offensive line got man handled and was anything but dominant. Brees did not have anytime and was under pressure the entire game. He took a lot of hits and my fiance was worried for his safety. What happened to the Smash Mouth Football we've been playing?

Also, Harris needs to stop seeing the field! We lose every time he starts!

I truly believed this team was good enough to beat the lambs .... even without our starting corners. Offense never got out of 3rd gear.

On to the Panthers.

We were discombobulated somehow. I also think we could have won, and I think we WILL win next time...

You hit the nail on the head. I still love our offensive line going forward. Peat has been a lot more valuable than I ever imagined.

Re: We Had An Ugly Game

Tough road loss to a pretty good team. But it showed we have still plenty of work to do going forward.

Our kick coverage was awful & set them up nicely at least twice.

And we need someone on the DLine not named Jordan to get a consistent pass rush without blitzing. It'll be easier to cover receivers with our Back 7 when the QB doesn't have all...stinking...day to throw.

I remember way back when Sean first got here I heard or read where he said he had a 5 year plan. As I recall it actually took him 3 to get us relative again.

I wonder what's been the plan - the time frame - and where we're at inside it? I also think Roger jacked us up more than most folks truly appreciate.

In regards to our pass rush, it might not be the best plan to have Sheldon Rankins out there at DE.

Re: We Had An Ugly Game

It seemed like we would get a little momentum and it fizzled or the Rams came back and scored. Both CB's that were out was the difference.
