Yeah, I have no problem in signing Suh. One thing you can't take away from him. He always produces. Dude gets paid and leaves everything on the football filed. Signing Suh will probably add 5+ sacks for Jordan and Hendrickson could have breakout year.

Well they are oviously understanding that they need another presence upfront, if we can't afford Suh when the dust settles come draft day if Vea is sitting there at #11, 12 or 13 I would love to trade down from 27, he might cost of a few picks but that's a young stud upfront for years to come and the line is young and growing.

When has Suh played for a winning team?

Suh is an intelligent guy, he has a aggression that needs to be controlled but he has also gotten more mature. If we can bring him in for the right price, we may end up with the best front 7 in the NFL.

I'm more concerned with the money. I haven't really heard anything about guys not liking Suh in the locker room. He was a team captain in Miami and Detroit. All his issues have really just been about him being a nasty, mean, and dirty player. I don't really care about that. How much is he going to cost? That's all that matters to me.

IIRC Saints had like 1.5M in cap space & somehow signed JByrd a few years back? Then apparently the FO went after Josh Norman with about the same amount of cap space?

I'll put trust in the front office ... no matter what happens with Donkey Kong.

I agree. I can't remember reading anything about him being an issue at all in the locker room. In fact, he's been voted a captain for most of his career.

Read a report from Garafolo stating that the Seahags offered Sheldon Richardson a deal worth approximately 11M so I wonder if that will be the barometer for Donkey Kong to sign in NO?

Any time you are suspended/fined multiple times a year it can't be good foe morale. Guy was making 22 million a year and couldn't stay out of trouble.

Yeah most of his problem is the on field / dirty playing style. He hasn't been on a real winner yet.

Mix him in with our fun loving/good times bunch. I can see him enjoying that style and changing his stripes.

I also didn't see him play for a coach as in your face no none-sense style like Payton. You either do your job or you are gone. So bringing him in is a win win. If not he'll be traded and out of here much like AP.

Question what is his "market value" right now. Since 2014 his sack total and tackles have dropped every year. Last year he only had 47 tackles and 4.5 sacks. That's barely better than what we have now at DT. At 31 yrs old I can't see those numbers improving to validate his contract.

I think Suh is shopping and Saints have something to offer.
I think some of these players are looking at SuperBowl ability, especially Suh who has just followed the money.

I also think his value dipped a little since 2014.
Who knows what Loomis will come up with to offer?
Incentive front load or back load contract?
Base salary and some bonus or system?

We have to wait and see.

Bring him in, have a talk. If it goes well, make a fair offer but don't over extend. FO wouln't have done it's due diligence by not meeting with him.
