Great deal for him and we already have it covered with CM. Everybody won on paper except the Ravens overpaying.

It surprises me that Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome would pay up to 10M for a guy who had 9 catches in 11 games last year.

OK...it isn't just me! $10M is a lot of money for a guy that really needs to prove himself as a consistent receiver. The contract may be heavily weighted towards incentives rather than base pay, but still, that's a lot of cash over 2 years.

We paid 10 million to a receiver who didn't catch a single ball last year. So they are hoping for results similar to the previous year......just like we are.

I like Snead and I wish him well. It's a great deal for him.

I also don't think it breaks our stride at all. Onward and (more importantly) upward.

To be fair we just paid $10 for a guy with ZERO carved last year.

For the record, I think both signings are slight gambles but worth the risk for both teams.

My spider senses tell me that newly signed Meredith will have the higher upside. Bigger, faster & a very good catch radius.

It’s true CM didn’t play a snap but he only had 9 less catches than Snead. CM showed more explosiveness sitting in street clothes than Snead showed in the game.
