Looking at an FSU site & most were all clowning this guy. That's bad when your own school's fans think you're garbage.

At 6’7 I highly doubt he can play guard and center

Loved the first 2 picks, this guy Leonard - meh.
Maybe he'll surprise us, put some muscle weight on and compete?

That is exactly how Leonard was described as a player. They may have been a better tackle left out there or a better guard out there without the ability to slide to any other position on the line. We lost Kelemete who was that player. Hopefully we have him replaced with Leonard. If so it was a brilliant pick.

Jamerson ran a 4.4 40, has experience as a kick returner, including one returned for a TD.

Good back-up for Marcus Williams. Good special teams value. Solid pick.

Re: 2018 NFL Draft - Draft Day

Jamerson is strong & fast. He was projected 6-7 Rd, so bit of a reach. Still "raw" at S considering he converted from WR. Projected as a decent ST guy, which we can always use. Started 15 games at S. I like this pick better than any of the others, especially that 4th Rd turd when rolled in.

The "raw" theme continues: Saints 2018 Draft RAW

Todd Mcshay saying several teams he spoke with thought that Jamerson is the best special teams player in the whole draft. Thinks we got a steal, I like the sound of it.

"Projections" mean nothing. The actual draft never aligns with so-called projections because those doing the projections are not those that get paid to do the actual selections.

Jamerson and Justin Hardee will be tremendous on kick coverage. Jamerson will probably be our new kick returner as well.

Josh Katzenstein
@jkatzenstein
Natrell Jamerson said the Saints view him as a cornerback, but he's willing to play wherever.

I read that one GM said he was the best special teams player in the entire draft.

Thats good huh?

"one of the steals of day 3"

That does sound good, let's hope the Commish doesn't get rid of kick offs like he wants to do.

So far I really like 3 out of our 4 picks... based on what I'm reading because I don't really know jack squat.

Re: 2018 NFL Draft - Draft Day

6th round CB Kamrin Moore

Pre-Draft Analysis
Moore displays quick feet, adequate hip fluidity, and shows good burst out of pedal, but has below-average ball skills and just two career interceptions. He has the instincts, cover skills and toughness to develop into a quality nickel corner in the NFL.

frydaddy 04-28-2018 03:12 PM

Re: 2018 NFL Draft - Draft Day

Also reading Moore is a good special teams guy

frydaddy 04-28-2018 03:31 PM

Re: 2018 NFL Draft - Draft Day

Mcshay in love with the Kamrin Moore pick too. Brief highlights they just showed makes it seem like he's got a nasty streak. Strong, physical player, good at press, good in run support. If nothing else its creating competition and continuing to push our young secondary to greater heights.

I love the Kamrin Moore pick. The last 2 picks are really good.

Luke Falk finally off the board to Tennessee. Kinda thought the Saints might've taken a chance on him if he was still there.

As far as I'm concerned we had two ... Ingram and Kamara. If someone else can come in and win that third spot it would be great.

Eh, it's all a total crap shoot at this point in the draft. No one left with any sort of special value. It is what it is

So the Saints draft a player from the great university in Louisiana ...

Boston Scott from Louisiana Tech!

Yes, but if Scott beats them out then all is good. At this point of the draft is giving that a chance.

Elusive RB. Not rated high by the experts, but this dude does the whole TECMO BOWL movement & fits in our offense. Also out in the pass patterns, too. With 4.41 you can see the get-up he's got. Like the hands.

Like the pick. They're rolling from the 5th Rd onward.

Anyone know if he has experience as a returner? Looks like the kinda guy who might fit that role as well.

LOL! My youngest son, Cameron, went to ULM, as well ... before he decided to move to Nashville and continue his career as a singer and song writer. My wife also attended under it's old name.
